DISKCOPY
Description
Copies one disk to another sector by sector.
Command Syntax
DISKCOPY [drive1 [drive2]] [/1] [/v]

drive1 is the drive to copy from. (Called the source disk)
-
drive2 is the drive to copy to. (Called the target disk)
-
/1 only copies one side of drive1, even when the disk is double-sided
-
/v verifies the second disk after copying.
Comments
If you only have one floppy drive, enter DISKCOPY A: A: or DISKCOPY A: B:. You will be asked to change disks as necessary. If you have a hard disk and DOS 6+ you will only need to insert each disk once as the hard disk will be used temporarily to store info from drive1.
DISKCOPY can only copy floppy disks which are the same size. If you wish to copy hard disks, you will need to use a utility such as DriveCopy or Ghost.
